Specialised Disability Accommodation – Melbourne

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) :  Specialist Disability Accommodation refers to the type of accommodation where we will be providing specialised assistance for our participants. This type of disability housing is preferable for people with extreme functional impairment or high support needs.

To gain access to Specialist Disability Accommodation, you will be required to have it included in your NDIS plan. Once you have access, we can work with you to develop an individualised strategy and even help you in searching for the right SDA housing in Melbourne. We can assist in finalising the rent and utility costs as per the Commonwealth Disability Support Pension and Rent Assistance payments.

Supported Residential Services: Anytime Care provides Supported Residential Services, which is a disability housing accommodation for people who need help in everyday life. These types of residencies do not fall under the NDIS accommodation services. Though it is used by participants who are frail or have a disability, this scheme does not receive government funding and is operated privately. These residencies are registered with the state government as they are monitored to ensure that certain standards of personal support and accommodation are provided.

Private Rental Accommodation: For our participants who want complete independence, we provide them with housing that is available for rent in the market. Whether it be houses, apartments, or caravan parks, our planning managers will help you choose an accommodation that is perfect for you and will also assist you in negotiating the rent and other costs. We will also help you in accessing your NDIS accommodation funding for the same.
